Current 10th and 11th-grade students will participate in our first Industry Field Trip on Friday, October 11th. An Industry Field Trip is a pathway specific experience with an emphasis on exploring the variety of career options within their pathway at a particular facility.
The purpose of the Industry Field Trip is to provide a real-life, hands-on experience and is intended to help students understand and gain knowledge of the world-of-work, explore their pathway field, and help connect school to work. On Friday, October 11, 2019, students will visit a variety of businesses such as Goodyear, FirstEnergy, and GOJO between the hours of 8 AM to 12 PM.
A letter detailing the event as well as a permission slip will be sent home the week of October 1st. Those learners not selected to attend the October 11th Industry Field Trip will have the same opportunity on November 22nd. More details for the second trip will be forthcoming!
